Garden Inspiration

Is it crazy that I’m already thinking about Fall a little? When the weather turns, Dave and I want to make some changes out back. I spent a little time online looking for gardening inspiration!

This Wine Bottle Herb Bed on Hyperlocavore is rocking my socks! It may be time to start saving those bottles!

>>I’ve got a couple more inspirational photos over on my blog, too. I guess I’m after ides that use materials that I either have or can scavenge. Do you guys have any projects you want to share?

<3,
Becky

Actually, we thought about doing this for a minute and I don’t recommend it on the ground level, the potential for broken glass disasters is too high. One of our neighbors had a real mess on her hands when her husband accidentally hit hers with a trimmer.

Maybe a bottle tree, or a fence that is not buried in the ground would be better?

Oooh that’s a really good point! I like the idea of a bottle tree.

Thanks so much for the offer. I’m sort of rethinking the bottle idea because of what Lori mentioned above. :( But I want to come up with a different one! I’ll def. let you know!
